+ Faces face everywhere +
+ ...and while we're cross-linking noospheric feeds, the #faceyourart hashtag popped up on Instagram recently; with the principle of showing details of faces from your artwork. Being as I love painting faces, I couldn't resist a little photoshoot of some old favourites. +
+ While there's a fairly heavy Space Marine motif, I was quietly pleased to see quite a bit of variety of model types here, from Inquisitors to Blood Bowl – and it's really got me enthused to paint some more one-offs. +
+ Greenskins and dwarfs and ogres, too. I still think Sergeant Santiagon (above, centre) is the best face I ever painted. +
+ I did a step-by-step tutorial on painting faces here [+noosphericinloadlink embedded+] – any interest in a tutorial for other species? I quite fancy applying the principles to Tau or something. +
